Rabbi Bentzy Stolik was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He studied in the main Chabad School, spent a year at Yeshiva in Paris, and retuned to receive his Rabbinic ordination from the central Lubavitch Yeshiva. Additionally, Rabbi Bentzy spent two years as a student mentor (in Baltimore and Toronto), assisting a Yeshivah high school and local community. As a Rabbinic intern, Rabbi Bentzy spent his summers visiting and serving Jewish communities in Australia, India, Thailand and South Florida. He has conducted Seders for scattered communities in Russia, Lithuania, Germany and Hawaii.
Rabbi Bentzy is passionate and optimistic about the future of Judaism. He enjoys teaching and firmly believes that Torah's advice and principles are vital to living a happy life. He also loves sitting down with a coffee for a casual chat about Jewish life.
Devorah Stolik was born and raised in New York, attended the Beth Rivkah school. She spent her summers as a counselor for Jewish day camps in Georgia, Maryland, Florida, Colorado and Virginia. She graduated Machon Shohanah Seminary in Jerusalem with honors. Devorah has spent many years teaching Judaic studies to students of various ages - from 3rd grade through High School.
As co-director of Chabad of Olney, Devorah directs the Chabad Hebrew School of the Arts, teaches classes, runs the Jewish Women's Circle, and offers personal guidance and support to the community.
Inspired by the teachings and legacy of The Rebbe, the Stoliks moved from Brooklyn in August 2012, to establish Chabad of Olney, which has rapidly grown to become a beacon of Jewish life and education to the greater Olney community.
